Setup

Does SoundSend auto detect speaker distances, or do I manually set those?

SoundSend does not auto-detect speaker distances, because MyZone is meant to customize the soundscape for the listener’s unique positioning in their room. The MyZone feature on the SoundSend app makes manual input very quick and simple, then the system automatically calculates delay and attenuation to create a coherent sound field at the desired focal point.

If I purchase Platin, will I have another remote to keep track of?

Your entire Platin system is controllable from your smartphone (Android OR Apple) through the Axiim Link or SoundSend apps. Set up your personal preferences like balance and EQ levels anytime, and adjust them for each speaker or your system as a whole, so you can customize to your heart's content. Additionally, LG WiSA-ready TVs have an interface that uses their own remote, so you can control all your entertainment elements from one place.

Which speaker setup is the best for me?

Platin Monaco 3.1 delivers a wall of sound that will expand the impact of your TV setup. Monaco 5.1/7.1 is a fully-immersive, cinema-style surround sound system that puts you in the center of the action.

Platin Milan 5.1/7.1 provides the same immersive experience as Monaco with slightly smaller dimensions for a more compact footprint in your space.

For audio transmitters, Platin Monaco and Milan are both compatible with the WiSA SoundSend. Monaco also supports the Axiim LINK, for customers interested in expanding the audio capabilities of their Xbox console.

How can I turn up the bass volume on the subwoofer?

You can fine-tune and adjust your entire audio system using the free Axiim LINK or SoundSend mobile apps for iOS and Android. The app's advanced features allow you to play with volume trim on each independent speaker, adjust EQ settings, and more. You can also adjust the volume on the subwoofer manually, using the buttons on the rear panel.

Can I adjust the volume for each speaker individually?

Yes, speaker volume (trim) can be adjusted using the Axiim LINK and SoundSend mobile apps.

Can I reassign my speaker positions?

Yes, you can send any audio channel to any speaker.

What speaker configurations do Platin products support?

Platin products range in support from 2.0, 2.1, 3.1, 4.0, 5.1, and 7.1.

Troubleshooting

Does unplugging a speaker unpair it from SoundSend, requiring setup via the app to be performed again?

No! Once a speaker is identified upon auto-discovery or via Scan for Speakers, SoundSend remembers that speaker by MAC address and will send it the same audio channel data when it powers up again.

How can I mitigate signal interference?

The WiSA-certified Axiim LINK uses Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) technology, which proactively detects interference and compensates by switching frequency when conflicts arise. This keeps a backup frequency always ready, so you never lose any audio transmission on WiSA devices.

Compare the audio transmitter options.

All Monaco sound systems include a WiSA-certified wireless audio transmitter. Decide which is right for your TV or game console.
